Kingston’s ‘Kintaikyo’ bridge displayed at the Embassy of Japan

The Embassy of Japan in London is currently hosting an exhibition focusing on the iconic Kintaikyo Bridge. The exhibition ‘KINTAIKYO – Building a Japanese Bridge’ is being held during the International Architecture and Design Showcase organised by the British Council. A feature of the exhibition is the recreated version of one section of the famous landmark by Kingston architecture students. The spectacular 1:3 scale version of a section of the bridge was made using almost 700 metres of donated sustainable spruce. For more information and to visit the exhibition please visit:
