Dr Natasha Adamou is an art historian researching the use of everyday, found objects in contemporary sculpture in the context of the material culture of post-industrial cities.

 

Professor Stephen Barber is Professorial Research Fellow in Visual and Material Culture. His research interests are in contemporary urban cultures, experimental film and performance art, and Japanese culure.

 

Alice Beard is Senior Lecturer in Design History and has research interests in fashion, gender, and magazines.

 

Dr Jonathan Black is Research Fellow and writes in British Modernism in a global context.

 

Professor David Cottington is Director of Postgraduate Studies and conducts research on the European avant-garde and its legacies.

 

Dr Azadeh Fatehrad is a postdoctoral researcher. Fatehrad's research engages with postcolonial feminism. Her interdisciplinary research overlaps discourses such as political science, sociology, representation, architecture, photography and moving image, as well as cultural studies.

 

Dr Chris Horrocks is Principal Lecturer in Art History.

 

Professor Fran Lloyd is Professor of Art History and Associate Dean (Research & Enterprise) and has research interests in gender, postcolonial studies, and diasporic visual arts practices.

 

Helen Potkin is Principal Lecturer and carries out research on performance, the public, and practices outside of the gallery.

 

Dr Helen Wickstead is a Lecturer in Heritage in the School of Art & Design History.
