The School of Architecture & Landscape has been featured online by the Architects’ Journal in an article about the School’s ‘Vertical Project’ to secure UNESCO World Heritage status for the humble London pub. The ‘Vertical Project’ is a weeklong project where students across the year groups for Architecture, Landscape and Interior Design courses work together on a joint initiative. This year’s project is made more difficult by their brief, which requires the bid to champion not one particular pub, but to make the case in the application to the Department for Culture, Media and Sport for the London Pub as a type.
