Project title

The problem of authorship: Exploring the effects of interpretative approaches on student creativity

Abstract

Dina Zoe Belluigi is an academic at The Centre for Higher Education, Research, Teaching and Learning (CHERTL), at Rhodes University, South Africa. Before that she taught fine art studio practice and tutored art history and visual culture studies at the School of Fine Art, Rhodes University. She is a practicing artist.
Her research interests span across concerns within higher education, with a particular research focus on studio learning and assessment. She is currently working on a research project about authorship and interpretation, which informs her Doctorate in Philosophy at Kingston's Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture and is supported through the Oppenheimer Memorial Trust and the National Arts Council of South Africa.
