Specialist in Knitwear. Managing design and construct, directing technical support, and visiting lecturers. Recently completed the MA Design, with teaching and learning at Kingston University.

Previously taught at a number of HEI, including St.Martin's & The Royal College of Art.

Sam Elliott London, Owner, Designer, own label stocked in Selfridges, Browns focus, Isetan,The Bon Marche, Barneys NY, U.K and European boutiques. Exhibiting at London Fashion Week, Premier Classe and Workshop in Paris.

Freelance Knitwear Designer Clients include Bella Freud, Top Shop, Harrods, and W.G.S.N.

Research expertise

July 2012 Paper accepted to be published in the September issue ADC Kingston internal publication. 'Using peer assessment in group work enhanced by PDP to improve student understanding of assessment practices and marking criteria. A Case study'.

November 2010 publication of 'Use Adapt Design, how to use, adapt and design your own knitting patterns'.

Written in collaboration with Sidney Bryan. Published in Europe and the USA through Quarto and Barons.

Teaching areas & responsibilities

BA(Hons) Fashion - Principal Lecturer.
Responsibilities include supporting the C.D. Acting as academic mentor for the bridging student's, and Level 6 year leader.
